Safety Corner

What are Safety Corners?

A safety corner is a specially designed and tooled corner with a much “softer” angle. When little ones zipping around at full-speed (or maybe you getting a 2 AM snack) come into contact with the corner of your countertop, the impact is distributed over a greater surface area, resulting in a much more gentle hit. A standard corner has a radius of one-quarter inch, while the safety corner has a radius of 4 inches.

Who are Safety Corners right for?

If you are concerned about protruding stone edges and the painful impact that could result, Safety Corners may be right for you. Take a look at one of our showroom samples to make your decision.

How much do Safety Corners cost?

Per-corner cost is $75. You can do as many or as few of your corners as you please.

Sink Saver

What is Sink Saver?

The most common place for chips on a stone countertop is by far the edge around an unermount sink. Pots and pans constantly in and around the sink can easily chip the nearly sqare corner. Sink Saver is a specially tooled edge on the inside on the sink cutout that is rounded off to increase edge strength. A standard in-sink edge has a radius of one-eighth inch while the Sink Saver edge is three-eighths, which is much "softer."

Who is Sink Saver right for?

Anyone who is going to have an undermount sink that wants to protect their investment from damage as much as possible.

How much does Sink Saver cost?

To have the special Sink Saver edge tooled into your countertop it's an additional $299 for kitchen sinks and $150 for bathrooms and vanities. The cost of the Sink Saver is a relatively small price to pay for peace of mind about your new investment.
