Park city Home Design trends

Park City lays nestled high in the wasatch mountains at 7000 feet above sea level. The town is a sort of bubble, with unique art, scenery, food, fashion, and design. Park City only has around 8,000 residents but is home to some 600K tourists annually.

The homes are mostly scattered among the trees along the sides of the mountains, often with grand views of the mountains and valleys below. Park City homes will often have grand windows facing in all different directions to let in the views and natural light. Often people will choose to go with a rustic cabin style home with exposed wood beams, high vaulted ceilings, and generous use of stone throughout.

Inside the kitchen of a Park City home you could expect to find a large island, gas range, plentiful seating, and an overall modern and open feel. Stone countertops are a staple, with many of the homes updating from outdated granites to sleek and modern Quartzite and Quartz commonly with very modern waterfall edges. Recently light colored Quartzite countertops have taken Park City by storm.

As far as landscaping, you will commonly see lots of trees used to maintain the mountain feel, often paired with rock paths and placed boulders. Patios are also very popular with a clean and modern look, often centered around minimal fireplaces.

If you are looking to install new countertops or upgrade your existing countertops our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff would be more than happy to assist you at our premium stone countertop Rock Tops Park City showroom.
