Prepare for the installation of your new countertops and learn what to expect before, during, and after the process. 

Countertop Template Expectations

Plumbing should not be reconnected until 24 hours after the countertops are installed

  • Please make sure we have unrestricted access to your home.
  • Cabinets must be installed before the template can be used. There will be a charge for the template measurement if the bob or any of the regions are not ready at your planned time.
  • Farm sinks must be installed before the template is measured.
  • At the time of the measurement, customer-supplied sinks, faucets, and cooktops must be present. If they are not onsite for any reason, you must bring them to our shop for proper fitment and measurement.
  • Before the task can be processed, the homeowner must be present during the template and sign the completed template.

  • At the time of installation, please ensure that your piping is disconnected.
  • Cooktops and faucets must be present and in good working order at the time of installation, as well as having been examined by the homeowner prior to arrival.
  • The job site must be in good functioning order, with all lights turned on and all countertops cleared.
  • Backsplashes are absolutely straight, but walls aren't, and granite doesn't bend, thus these gaps are the customer's duty. After the countertops have been finished, tile backsplashes should be installed.
  • Clients must be present at the job site to approve the work and pay the final bill.
